The new serires of compact SUVs from Mercedes focouses on performance with good fuel consuption, as described on the Mercedes press release: "The all-rounders encompass a performance spectrum from 225 kW (306 hp) to 310 kW (421 hp) and command a wide range of disciplines with assurance ‑ on the racetrack and in everyday use."
The 3 new cars come with a sporty and lifestyle-oriented aproach and try to bring a dynamic experinece for the driver, without compromising too much on the consuption and emssions.
For the GLA 35, the numbers are a bit lower with a fuel consuptions of 7.5-7.4 l/100 km and 171-170 g/km for the combined emissions.
Both the GLA 45 and the GLA 45 S come with a good improvement on the consuption with 9.2-9.1 l/100 km for the GLA 45 and 9.3-9.2 l/100 km for the GLA 45 S.
Consuption are very close too for these models at 211-209 g/km and 212-210 g/km respectively.
Although racetrac is mentioned, SUVs are not your typica track day cars, but just in case you are feeling sporty, the cars come with variable distribution of power with an 8-speed dual clutch transmission and actuve all-wheel drive.
