After a long wait, the automotive industry slowly starts to come back after the COVID-19 pandemic, and to atract prospective buyers, Mercedes has announced some upgraded and facelifted models of 4 AMG E-Class models.
According to Mercedes, the new E 53 4MATIC+ Coupé achived 320 kW/435 hp, and has a combined fuel consumption of 8.9-8.6 l/100 km. The Combined CO2 emissions are 204-198 g/km.
The Cabriolet version of the E 53 outputs the same power, but gets a better fuel consumption with 9.1-8.8 l/100 km. The mmissions are very close to the Copué at 209-202 g/km.
A similar situations happens with the E63 S. Both versions get 450 kW/612 hp, with a small difference on fuel consuption. 11.6 l/100 km for the Saloon, and 11.9 l/100 km for the Estate.
The diference on E 63 emissions is not that big either, 267 g/km for the Saloon against 273-271 g/km for the Estate.
The main differences on the looks of the cars come form the radiator grille with vertical louvres and flatter headlamps. There is also a modification to the tail lights to give the cars a more dinamyc look.
